Yes, yes, quite right, old bean. Jolly good show.
I’m actually a stickler for it myself, and for proper hyphenation. For example, note the difference in these sentences:
“Check out my mouth-watering burritos.”
“Check out my mouth watering burritos.”
However, everything evolves, and I’m sure that, soon enough, neither “rule” will be used much at all.
Also, I try my best not to be a pedantic asshole about grammar stuff. Very few people enjoy unsolicited advice about how to speak or write.
